How To Use Our Free Timing App

Set up your phone, pick your timing point and record times in six short steps.

Where to find the free timing app

Our free web app is available from within your administration section once you have an account. It works on all devices, including phones, tablets and computers, and you can save it to your phone so it is ready on race day.

  1. 1. Get your free account

Fill in our enquiry form and we will create your account and email you your login details.

  2. 2. Log in

The timing app is only visible once you are logged in, and you will find it in your administration section.

  3. 3. Use it on any device

It is a web app, so there is nothing to download from an app store. It works on all devices and can be saved to your phone like a normal app. See how to add it to your home screen.

Request your free account

Our free timing app turns your phone into a big keypad for recording runners. Type the bib number, tap Save Time, and the time is saved against your timing point. No signal? Times are kept safely on your phone and synced automatically when it returns.

    Before you start

Ask your organiser for the app address and the event password, and find out which timing point you are covering.

    As each runner crosses

Type their bib number, then tap Save Time the moment they cross. The time is stamped when you tap.

    If the signal drops

Keep recording. Times wait on your phone and sync themselves when you are back online.

The screens shown are a simplified illustration. Bib numbers, times and the event name are examples.

Save the timing app to your home screen

The timing app is a web app, but it can be saved to your phone just like a normal app. Once it is on your home screen you can open it with one tap. Log in and open the timing app first, then follow the steps for your phone.
